K-LASER TREATMENT

Class IV Therapeutic Laser Technology by K-Laser

The K-Laser Class IV Therapeutic Laser is an outpatient, non-surgical procedure, often used in physical therapy and sports medicine, to accelerate the healing process. It offers non-invasive treatment to promote healing for those who suffer from pain in muscles, nerves, and joints, like that associated with arthritis, neck and back pain, auto accidents, sports injuries and carpal tunnel syndrome.

This pain-free, non-surgical approach works by stimulating the body's natural healing processes, providing pain relief and reducing injury damage. This leading edge technology has an impressive success rate of returning patients to work, sports and competition activites, as well as everyday life. Patients treated with the K-Laser, often show a higher level of function both during and after the treatment period. The therapeutic laser provides a tremendous alternative for those facing surgery.

Non-surgical or "therapeutic lasers" have gained popularity in the U.S. since the first FDA clearance for the devices in 2002. However, prior to the newly approved Class IV K-Laser technology, these earlier devices, known as "low-level" or "cold lasers", have been shown to be only minimally effective for the treatment of pain and injuries in clinical trails.

K-Laser Provides Deep Tissue Penetration

K-Laser's, FDA-approved, Class-IV therapeutic laser technology is not considered "low-level" or a "cold," laser as were the Class I, II, IIIa & IIIb lasers were, since the power in these Class-IV lasers is up to 1500 times greater. The class IV therapeutic laser offers up to 20-times the penetration depth without creating a discomfort for the patient. The power output and penetration of therapeutic lasers has increased expotentially over the past few years and B & M Chiropractic, Inc. prides itself on keeping up with the latest advancements in pain treatment.

In addition, offices utilizing this advanced form of therapeutic laser technology have had tremendous success with a variety of conditions, including but not limited to; arthritis, neck pain, low back pain, tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, and inflammatory conditions.

Laser Therapy is proven to biostimulate tissue, enhance repair and growth, and decrease inflammation and pain. When it comes to pain management, K-Laser treatments are very safe and may provide dramatic results.
